Add real placeholder text and improve publication link ux

Use Case

2 improvement requests relating to the table:

1. There is placeholder description text in the table that should not show. Can we get real text or just leave blank?
2. Matt Akamatsu mentioned at first he though the publication link would load the dataset. I can see this being not super clear. Could we add a little icon after the link like the image below?

Note: We want to combine these two tables into one as part of minimizing aics branding #450 could do that as part of this ticket if it comes up first since its a quick win
