Setting TimeOffsetType properly

I try to get TimeOffsetType from the settings configured to UtcToLocalTime. If I set it manually in the user.config, it will be reset to None whenever I open the settings UI. I also don't find a UI option for this specific settings.

Can you therefore tell me what's the correct way to specify this correctly?

This is my CLEF file and I would love to be able to see it in the given timezone:

If I change the time format to include zzz it will show the +02:00, but I would prefer to see it converted to the local time. Not sure if UtcToLocalTime is using my time zone or the one from offset.

I initially assumed that Analogy.LogViewer.Serilog might not properly interpret ISO 8601 timestamp as the examples usually didn't have them, but I saw in the code and also tests that there are examples with +10:00 and +02:00 as well. Also https://github.com/Analogy-LogViewer/Analogy.LogViewer.Serilog/blob/f2429050c96d30bb595fde19c873380c846ab2b0/Analogy.LogViewer.Serilog/DataTypes/LogEventReader.cs#L256-L259 looks exactly like I would have expected it. So I assume it's converted to DateTime somewhere in the main application :)

Didn't have time too dive deeper yet and thought to ask first before spending too much time. If you like, I can create two bug tickets to track those separately:

• DateTime offset not being handled properly
• TimeOffsetType not being configurable and reset on saving configs

• Extend TimeOffsetType to allow converting to given timezone #2244
