There are .biocollect.merit packages which where intended to contain merit-specific code that can be removed from biocollect, and .biocollect packages which were intended to have biocollect-only code.

This pattern has not been followed, so there is a mix of merit and biocollect functionality in the .biocollect.merit packages. This makes it hard to determine what needs to be updated when changes are made.
