Pinecraft user password expires after 1 day

Pinecraft user password is set to expire after 1 day.

Where is the password expiration defined? /etc/login.defs settings appear to be ignored.

You have to set your password. If not prompted automatically, type passwd

Thank you. I changed it upon install. I am still getting this warning. I just followed your instructions and typed passwd, entered a new password, and rebooted. Upon logging in, I still am told that it will expire in 1 day.
