Has there been a change in zksync and gas since the videos were made?

I am able to deploy with no problems to the eravm network, but when I try and deploy to zksync I get the error:

boa.rpc.RPCError: -32000: both gasPrice and (maxFeePerGas or maxPriorityFeePerGas) specified

I have asked Claude and the solution involves actions not learned in the course and reconfiguring of the deploy script.

I have rewatched the videos and I have seen nothing that could possibly lead out of this dilemma.

Any clue? I don't even want the answer, I just want to be pointed in the right direction to correct my error if it os something did.

And if it is coming from an update, an idea of what needs to be done or should I follow the example of Claude not knowing what else the course may involve?

I just want to get back to the coding. I now understand why Patrick says that this is probably the most frustrating aspect of the process.

Previous to this error, I was told that I was on the wrong chain_id although it was the one (300) given by both Alchemy and Patrick. I ended up just commenting it out.

Hello @Jon-Mervedel, were you trying to deploy to the ZKSync mainnet? Because deploying to eravm is simply deploying to ZKSync-sepolia test net.

confirm that this "$ZKSYNC_SEPOLIA_RPC_URL" is pointing to the zksync endpoint and not the sepolia endpoint.

Yeah, @EngrPips! might be right. If you use Alchemy, the API url of your app on the dashboard will default to the mainnet:

Check that your URL is begining by: https://zksync-sepolia.g.alchemy.com[.....].

I have not only disabled ZKsync's mainnet to ensure no interference bu I have checked all files and Metamask settings (which shows a chain id of 300 as well) and I get the same error:
ValueError: Chain ID mismatch. Expected 11155111, but user placed 300 in their moccasin.toml

And when I comment it out to just try and run it, I get the same error as before

Let me ask you this... is the information provided concerning zksync essential to mastery of next section? Because if not, I'm moving on to it. But if it is, I'll just have to figure out a way to make this work.

moccasin==0.3.4b2 -> might be coming from the mox version. Mine is on 0.3.6 maybe it could solve the issue if you upgrade ?

And for the next sections, if you want to continue and skip the zksync you can. You will still learn with pyevm, anvil, and sepolia while we are trying to solve your issue 👌

I feared that.

I had a previous issue with boa before and had to go to version 0.3.4b2 in order to resolve the issue.

And thank you for letting me know. I didn't want to proceed only to get lost and have to double back.

Hopefully this can be figured out shortly.

Well I upgraded ,synced and switched to a new terminal and contract is deployed and verified.
