I may have lost all of my mox-cu folders

Hello all.

I updated from WSL1 to WSL2 and it seems that all of my folders and files previously I had has been wiped out.

And though I still have uv and moccasin globally, any attempt to call it from a WSL window is not being done and unrecognized.

This is bad. I was going to review and go over areas that I was weak in, but it now looks as if I will have to repeat the entire course. All of my commented notes are LOST! Ideas generated to make use in the future when the course was over are LOST!

I have no clue what to do. Not only my mox-cu folders, but folders and files dating back to before 2020.

I now have 2 Ubuntu distros, but the original has no files or folders.

Bad. Real bad.

One thing I'm doing is taking a short CLI course after this. I use to know them years ago and don't know if that played a factor or not, but I'll make sure it doesn't again!

Yeah, windows stuff... maybe you can get all the code from the GH repo of each course. Patrick make them available on git so you can git clone into your local env.

Or even better, you can fork repositories and then git clone into your local computer. Then you can make your changes and your notes (sadly we can get them back I think...) and push every change to your "copied" repo of the course.

At least you can gain some time on writing the code again.

1. Go to the course section on the full-course repo

2. Fork from specific repo section

3. Create the fork and then clone it with the copied link after git clone (for example git clone https://github.com/s3bc40/mox-favorites-cu.git)

I forked the mox-fav repo for example: https://github.com/s3bc40/mox-favorites-cu. Now I can change anything add comments, have it locally and push any changes to this forked repo. And I can get it back anytime.
