Describe your overall experience with the current DIRAC web application.

Usage (mostly admin answers):

• Plotting (Accounting, Monitoring)
• Job manager
• Transformation manager
• CS editing
• Pilot monitor
• Resources summary
• Proxy Manager

Like:

• Shared dashboard/saved desktop
• Being able to open multiple time the same application in different webapp tab
• Being able to open multiple time the same application in different browser tab
• Being able to open multiple desktop in the same browser tab (each of them having multiple and different tabs)
• there is filter as we type in the selection boxes to some extend
• overall consistent look and feel
• Group by a given column
• Select list of visible columns
• Pie chart summary of the selection result
• Change in numbers between refresh (X jobs more done, X files less in waiting, etc)

Dislike

• web client gets stuck and need to reload
• can't reload without losing the state
• Can only filter with the beginning of the word
• Can't select all but
• Can't undo the group by column
• text selection is 2023 crap award winner
• Slow in general
• Missing the ability to share a given state (like grafana share)
• Resource Status page is useless for users
• CS editing tedious

Would be useful for crude monitoring of jobs and transformations

• bookkeeping browser
• LHCB specific production management
• extending the transformation system
