Security Policy

Supported Versions

The following table outlines the versions of the Bait-User WordPress Plugin that are currently supported with security updates:

Reporting a Vulnerability

If you discover a security vulnerability in the Bait-User plugin, please report it by opening an issue on GitHub.

How to Report

  1. Open a GitHub Issue: Go to the Issues section of the repository.
  2. Use the "Security" Label: When creating the issue, please label it as "Security" to ensure it gets the proper attention.

What to Include

When reporting a vulnerability, please include:

  • A detailed description of the vulnerability.
  • Steps to reproduce the issue.
  • The version of the plugin you are using.
  • Any relevant information, logs, or screenshots that may help us understand the issue.

Response Time

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your report within 2 business days.
  • We aim to provide an update every 5 business days regarding the progress of the fix.
  • You will be notified when the issue has been addressed and a patch has been released.

Responsible Disclosure

To ensure the safety of all users, we ask that you do not publicly disclose the vulnerability until we have released a fix. This will allow us to protect users from the potential exploitation of the vulnerability.
