Similar to the roost but for cows. The current way to automate it is hard to set up and also quite laggy so an alternative is more than welcome.

I was thinking something like a milking machine block that slowly extracts / produces milk when a cow is above it and is provided with rotation

and the rest you need around that? as i said before the setup you need right now is quite laggy similar to the default lava blaze burner setup. that's why mods exist to directly pump lava into blaze burners.

the roost follows a similar idea. instead of 100 chicken above a hopper you add a little bit of effort by feeding them to reduce the number of chickens you need to get the same amount of eggs
