I'm mainly interested in this because it would mean we could potentially read and play Macromedia Shockwave files on other platforms. So, I would like to know what the current status of the project is?

@Quiangong2

I cannot entirely answer that, as I am not in charge of this part of the project. Most of us have some part which is almost or entirely exclusive to that individual.

IDK so much about playing, while that is theoretically possible (and may be pursued later), our primary focus is on building a decompiler.

I will have more to say in a week or so, hopefully...

I hate to be a pest but I'd also like to know more on the status of this project.

ProjectorRays seemed to be a really strong project but it's not being updated any longer, as far as I can tell.

We've all been busy. Honestly, each part of this was strong or weak in its own ways. Fact of the matter is that our team just isn't very well coordinated, and constantly disagree with things. There's also knowledge gaps all over the place. I at one point, Tried to understand the Rust version, and asked. This never really was accomplished. I have moved back to plain old JS, although I've slightly changed my approach.

Now, we HAVE made loads of progress on the format, itself. Not reflected here, as it's all exclusive to our discord server at this point.

Sorry for the wait, and you have no idea how much it's frustrating ME...

Ah it’s no problem, I’m encouraged to hear progress is being made with the format itself. I’m just glad that work is continuing and people aren’t giving up.

I’m anxious to see a few usable tools eventually, but I’m patient.

Bless this Repo!

Yeah

So am I.

Thanks!

To be fair, I haven't been doing much, myself, either. IRL has been keeping me busy/stressed/tired, and I'm currently doing Ludum Dare 42 (or well, supposed to be, my partner and I reached burn-out early-on...)
