Strange SQL query behavior

Hello all,
I'm VERY new to Github so I ask you to be patient with me. Thanks in advance.

I've installed Easy Engine and for the life of me I can't figure this one out:

I'm generating a list of retirement homes and want to list them ascending alphabetically. It won't sort no matter what I do. The query ignores the ORDER BY and even if I paste the query into the query console in PMA clicking the header on the column I want to sort by doesn't sort my results! I've been beating my head bloody over this for months (on and off) but it just won't sort. I have a colleague who has tried the query on other WP instances hosted by commercial hosts and it works perfectly but on this Easy Engine instance it just won't. Any insights? Thanks.
