can't tab to open rank component to open it

If you click on the white area in the top left of the component and then hit tab, the items of the menu are selected but after you tab though the menu you want to get to the chevron to hit spacebar and open up a point, but it doesn't get there. But if you use the mouse to click on the point, then you can tab to the chevron.

User needs to be able to review and rank points using spacebar and tab. Not there is already an issue for fixing tabing to the ranking choices.
