Hi @DuwinduTharinda, is it enabled in settings? |
Closing this for now as I can't reproduce and haven't heard back. Feel free to reply and we can re-open as needed. |
OK I'll install that build and double-check. Microsoft may have broken something again. |
I connected an external mouse just now, and the notification area icon
rightfully responds to the scrollwheel. But it's just not happening with
the touchpad, i.e. scrolling with 2 fingers together.

Summary
Today I updated eartrumpet to the latest version 2.3.0.0, I tried toggling the option on eartrumpet settings and completely reinstalling (all through MS store) but the "Change volume by scrolling while hovering over eartrumpet icon" feature doesn't work. it just displays an information box.
My OS is Windows 10 22h2 (10.0.19045.5131), and I skipped several KB504xx—505xx updates because they messed up several items in Windows settings.
Steps to reproduce
move cursor to where Eartrumpet icon is located in the taskbar's notification area and scroll using two fingers on the touchpat.
EarTrumpet version
2.3.0.0
Windows version
10.0.19045.5131
