How to delete a field in Firestore ?

There is FieldValue.delete() - but I can't figure out how to use it with Kotlin serialization. Example please?

firestore.collection("COLLECTION_NAME")
                .document(it)
                .update(hashMapOf("FIELD_NAME" to FieldValue.delete))
