build fix for newer CC

There's an error multiple definition of 'yylloc':

The fix is said to be backporting this:
torvalds/linux@e33a814

But as explained here, one also needs to look at the _shipped file, and setting it to external there worked for me.

i tried this using:

I just found this, after going through more of this while building dtc. I have no recollection of opening the issue, but I can confirm that it sounds like a good idea to me.
