According to the author's comment, auth-simple is not stable now.
Also, I think it is better to set the value of obfs param to the website hosted outside the GFW because the IP address you access is also outside it.

And said the same mikelei8291, use http_simple's obfs param suggest set to the website hosted outside the GFW.
