Same. Started a couple weeks ago, reverse IP lookup, if even real, shows Russia/UK or Michigan and other weird states. I blocked them all via windows firewall. |

If you are exposing the service to the public Internet, you should expect it's being scanned and probed for vulnerabilities. Do you have any logs from your firewall to show what the requests look like? |

I thank you very much for the comments and clarifications you gave me, I used to use Radmin VPN, but many of my friends didn't want to use it because they didn't trust it even if it is a safe program also with regards to network and IP access, I put my IP public for this reason and left free access to my server to some ffxi lover who found it interesting to play on my server as I customized it, I didn't think about this problem since ffxi private server is a game that you are already aware of or love this type of game, now I'll see what I can do to protect myself as much as possible, I don't think it's my case, but after the discussion that happened with Catseye and Carver, I'm not saying it's them, but the fear of their attack for who knows what reason now I have a bit of it, thank you very much! |

Hi everyone, thank you all in advance, lately some strange connections have been happening resulting in this error: [02/03/25 13:46:29:603][connect][warn] Session requested without valid sessionHash from 194.165.16.76 ( view_session::read_func:38)
and it happens that I have to restart either the database or xi_connect, could I have some problems receiving calls? thanks very much for the help
