Hide Metadata

Is there any way to hide the file name, all the metadata of the picture and the information button when opening a picture from an album? I just want to show the images and not the information or any metadata. I see there is and advance custom in settings to change the css and js, idk if I can do something like that there.

Hi,

You can set the default metadata displayed on the photo overlay. See the setting "Default image overlay information", if you set it to none, the Exif data should no longer be visible at first (but still accessible via click / o.

If you are talking about the details in the i then I will need to create a setting for that (e.g. "Do not show exif data to guest users").

There are probably some CSS tricks you can do, but I don't really have the time to cook that for you.

Yes, "Default image overlay information" I have that set it to none but as you said, still showing via click. I would like to hide it completely as well as the i button that shows exif data.
I'm not an expert on CSS but I'll do some research and try something.

In case anyone wants to do the same, I managed to hide both overlay info and sidebar when click i button using this settings on css:

#image_overlay {
     display: none !important;
   }

aside#lychee_sidebar_container {
      display: none;
    }

Is still showing in the html tho. I couldn't prevent that but I'll try some other settings when I have time.
