Whitelisted Species List

There are many house sparrows (Haussperling). But they are not recognized.
Now I have added the house sparrow to the Whitelisted Species List. But it is not recognized.
What is the problem? Or I misunderstood it.

Hi, from your log the confidence is too low which explains why it's not shown.

How to improve :

• Make sure your latitude, longitude is correct
• Your settings are quite stringent, I use Min Confidence of 0.7 and sensitivity of 1.00 (less value is more sensitive in Birdnet-Pi, which can be counterintuitive)
• Adapt species occurence (that you have at 0.03) by clicking on more info and check what is the threshold of the species that you want to have. Then adapt the occurrence to make sure it is reported. My own occurrence is as low as 0.00015 (I think) to have less common birds that I know are there
• Make sure your microphone setting are appropriate in terms of gain (use alsamixer to adapt) and wind noise (chose a good location for the mic or use a deadcat to reduce)
• Use a microphone with good sensitivity and response such as EM272 or AOM5024

Do not use whitelist : when you enable it, only those species will be shown and nothing else!
