Is it normal that the Read app shows 'Fixed scan...' instead of scanning? All is default settings, i flashed both dev and stable release...

yes, thats normal... you should understand what things mean rather than freak out when there is a very slightly different word than in the basic step by step tutorial youre following too closely.
it means that it is scanning on a fixed frequency. as opposed to hopper scan which changes frequencies quickly to find signals on multiple frequencies.
