CCli-Entry Its an Single Header lib to deal with argv and argc in C, its projected to be friendly user, and portable
As Others OUI Products, these lib is made to bee dumb as possible,so for instalation you can just copy the CliEntry.h file to your project and start using
if these runs, it means it working
#include "CliEntry.h"
int main(){
}
You also can run by full folder, just copy the entire folder i CliEntry in your project than run with:
#include "CliEntry/CliEntryMain.h"
int main(){
}
#include "CliEntry.h"
int main(int argc, char **argv){
CliNamespace cli = newCliNamespace();
CliEntry *entry = newCliEntry(argc,argv);
//get the flag
int position = 1;
int element1_type = cli.entry.typeof_arg(entry,position);
if(element1_type == CLI_DOUBLE){
double element1_value = cli.entry.get_double(entry,position);
printf("element 1 its a double: %lf\n",element1_value);
}
if(element1_type == CLI_LONG){
long element1_value = cli.entry.get_long(entry,position);
printf("element 1 its a long: %ld\n",element1_value);
}
if(element1_type == CLI_STRING){
char * element1_value = cli.entry.get_str(entry,position,CLI_NOT_CASE_SENSITIVE);
printf("element 1 its a string: %s\n",element1_value);
}
if(element1_type == CLI_NOT_EXIST){
printf("element 1 not exist\n");
}
cli.entry.free(entry);
return 0;
}
you can use cli.entry.get_flag to retrive flags in these exemple I retrived the -o/-out flag
#include "CliEntry.h"
int main(int argc, char **argv){
CliNamespace cli = newCliNamespace();
CliEntry *entry = newCliEntry(argc,argv);
//get the flag
CliFlag *output_flag = cli.entry.get_flag(entry,"o | out | output",CLI_NOT_CASE_SENSITIVE);
//verify if exist
if(output_flag->exist == false){
printf("you didint passed the output\n");
cli.entry.free(entry);
return 1;
}
//verifying the size
if(output_flag->size == 0){
printf("the output flag its empty\n");
cli.entry.free(entry);
return 1;
}
int position = 0;
char *output_content = cli.flag.get_str(output_flag,position,CLI_CASE_SENSITIVE);
printf("content of output:%s\n",output_content);
//do stuff here
cli.entry.free(entry);
return 0;
}
