<h3 class="title">Automatic backups</h3>
<p>OmegaT creates backups of your project settings to ensure it can retrieve them in case of a problem.</p>
<p>OmegaT regularly and automatically stores all your progress in the project_save.tmx file located in the
project’s omegat folder. OmegaT also creates regular backups of that file.</p>

<p>Additional themes can be added as plugins. The themes also provide a predefined set of default colours of marks.</p>

<p>OmegaT supports dictionaries in the StarDict or in the Lingvo DSL
format. You can find some dictionaries on the <a class="ulink"
href="https://sourceforge.net/p/omegat/wiki/Reference%20Material/"
target="_blank">OmegaT Wiki</a>.</p>
<p>To install dictionaries:</p>

<p>download the file - it should be a tarball archive (extension
<code class="filename">tar.bz</code> or <code class="filename">tar.bz2</code>),</p>

per dictionary, with extensions <code class="filename">dz</code>,
<code class="filename">idx</code> and <code class="filename">ifo</code>.</p>

<p>If you want to remove words from potential dictionary matches, add an
<code class="filename">ignore.txt</code> encoded in UTF-8 to the folder. The file
must have one word per line. All the words contained in that list will be
ignored by OmegaT.</p>

automatically fill exactly matching and not yet translated segments.</p>
<p>Translations from TMX files placed in this folder are automatically inserted in matching segments
without the automatic prefix, making it unnecessary to confirm these segments.</p>
