Local image files

Is it possible to view a tree with images that are local? I tried my own tree with images in a local directory but the images don't show up.
Another example tree I tried was from this thread

I assume you mean opening a file from the local disk.

There are 2 ways you can open a GEDCOM file with images:

1. Put the GEDCOM file and the images into a zip file and open the zip file in Topola Viewer. This is an example of a zip file that works with Topola Viewer: https://chronoplexsoftware.com/myfamilytree/samples/The%20Kennedy%20Family.gdz
2. When you open the "Open File" window, you can select more than one file. If the GEDCOM file and image files are in the same directory, you can select all files (.ged and images) and click "Open". Topola Viewer should try to match images to individuals.

The success of these methods relies on whether the GEDCOM file has been created in a way that Topola Viewer will be able to match the images.
