How to sell Items ? / How to make a store ? (Buying and Selling Items)

I can't figure out how to make a store or something to sell items to .
I tried editing the included Vending machine but no clue .
can someone make one or tell me how to do it ? because I'm new to programing

There's currently no traditional "selling items" mechanic included in Cogito.
You could use the switches/buttons and their required item property to create a "trade", where it would spawn a currency item while the player would have the required item removed from their inventory (but of course this has limitations).

If we want to implement this in Cogito, we would have to addd a "value" property to the Item class, which could then get used in a CogitoStore component/interface which could then remove items from the player inventory and then add the item's value to the player's currency. But this would definitely require some programming work.

Yes I tried to do something like that with my limited programming knowledge and change the "Take all " button on the external inventory to check for a value property on the items and add it to the player credits and remove the items from the inventory ,but that only resulted me hitting my head on a wall :) . nonetheless, I think it would be great and useful to add the CogitoStore component to the project. because most of the trending games like "Lethal comapny", "KLETKA " and more ..... have this functionality .
