TRec: A Regression Test Recommender for Java Projects

In the paper, we proposed a technique and a tool, TRec, for identifying and recommending tests for code changes in CI environments. We evaluated TRec by recommending tests for 1,867 developers' modified methods in 493 commits from three open-source Java projects. This artifact repository contains data and tools used in the study.

The repository contains two main folders:

• The Tool folder contains TRec, a regression test recommender tool. This folder includes TRec's source code and an executable console application. Please check the ReadMe file in this folder for instructions on using the tool.

• The Data folder contains TRec's evaluation results. Please check the ReadMe file in this folder for instructions on reading the results.
