My server only has CPU, but not GPU. Is GPU essential for running the model?

If you plan use the OpenAI API no. But if you plan to self host deepseek-v3 you will need a GPU

Not at all! You can let the agents know what compute resources they have access to via the notes interface

Is it so free-flowing that I discovered it can kill itself and shut down my containers?

When I was running originally it also kept execuring the exit() command for some unknown reason 😅
