Crash when inserting file name

After I choose to edit medals or stats, it asks to input the file name of the profile.
I insert the correct name of the profile I use (CapoFantasma97.profile, I even checked in the saves folder).
It immediately closes down after pressing Enter. No errors no popups no logs.
A .bak file (CapoFantasma97.profile.bak) generated inside the folder of this executable, too.

I use Windows 11. I also tried with Administrator mode off and on.

Hi, I returned recently to the game.

The latest version works, I even use the GOG version and it's fine (despite some people in other issues say they have issues with GOG).

The only issue is, when trying to load a profile in the software using either "open" buttons, it doesn't seem to load it. At least visually. All boxes stay empty as if the profile wasn't loaded.

I wrote inside all of them the values I wanted and rewrote my profile name, then saved: it successfully overwrote the profile and the game loads the edits correctly.
