Send API message with active chat

Hello, I use the API but if there is already an active service, it doesn't let you send the message via the API saying that you already have an active chat.
Is there a way to get around this to let you send a message via API when you have an active/open chat?

For me to explain the scenario: We have retail stores that are using it and they are already talking in an active chat with the customer, but the customer wants a quote and receive a payment link. So through my application, while the attendant is chatting with the consumer, I would need to send the payment and quote link via the Baileys API, even though the person has the chat active.
