In my opinion, this is a bug in the Solaredge firmware. However, as I was unable to find a solution with Solaredge, it seems appropriate to provide a note for this add-on.
My setting:
Solaredge inverter SE10K
Meter to the grid
Battery BYD LVS 8.0
Assuming that the inverter outputs its power equally distributed on the three phases, I was able to calculate the house consumption per phase via
With a firmware update higher than 4.20.36, this calculation no longer worked. It now seemed that the inverter outputs the power more fitting for each phase. This means that now, for example, if the house is powered from the battery, the power per phase from the grid is approximately zero. However, the inverter currents, which could also be used to determine the phase power, are still approximately the same.
This means the data are no longer consistent.
I assume that the Solaredge firmware is outputting incorrect values for M_AC_POWER_A .. _C. Unfortunately, I was unable to clarify this with the support team and had got a downgrade to the old firmware version 4.20.36. And Solaredge has confirmed to me that even in the new firmware versions, the inverter power is distributed equally on the three phases.
For me, the use of firmware version 4.20.36 is sufficient for now, but the topic should be generally known here.
Expected behavior
Clarify whether it is possibly an issue for this add-on after all.
Or if you have a better contact to Solaredge, clarify what has changed in the Solaredge firmware
