I'll speculate: The inverter is rated at 5000 VA, i.e. it will provide a max of 5kW on the AC output. So if solar panels provide for example 3kW the maximum battery output can be 2 kW. |

Hi willcodeforcats :)
I am using you integration for few years now, very satisfied.
i was wondering about some more details of power control options. what actualy do and see different behavior. my setup goes like this: SE5000H + 10kWh LG battery + I/E meter + 20kW diesel generator.
I do not export anything. i have full access to inverter. Basically my electricity provider does not know i have solar power :D and i dont care if they do. My export is limited to 0. i am opened for fully testing features if there are some untested. and additional explanation about power control options. HASS latest version, your integration latest version, inverter, should be latest - autoupdate is on.
What i am wondering currently is: Even when max self consumption is on, and there is enought Sun, but consumption is higher then inverter can support. PV generation is 5k and instead of difference in consumption (e.g. 6kW) instead of taking from battery it takes from power grid. ?? suggestions?
