How to choose tokens manually instead of solely relying on the PRNG to pick them based on the random seed?

Usually, LLM inference engines generate tokens that form nice sentences. But, I want it to be a bit more manual, where the inference engine shows me a list of candidate tokens to choose from (along their probabilities), then I choose from this list.

Is this possible?
