[Bug]: Syncying changes in Mac UI (Arm) app have sync issues with 25.2.0 #4305

Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

A bug happened!

How can we reproduce the issue?

How can we reproduce the issue? Clear the logs in the docker container and click on the sync in the Mac (Arm) UI app. Both the Server and client are in the 25.2.0 version.

Also when I checked the logs in the server, multiple (around 1k) sync calls happened. But with web browser server logs looks good and UI is working fine.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Docker

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Desktop App (Electron)

Operating System

Mac OSX

There does seem to be a syncing issue but this is what is shown when it crashes. I even fully deleted the app and all its related files and started from new and that did not work.

Same here.
The MacOS desktop app freezes on launch now

v25.2.1 has been released. Can anyone confirm if this is still happening or not?

I just tried, getting a package damaged issue. This is already been reported #4325

That was fixed, you'll need to download the release again.
