Locales allow encoding some information like the numbering system (e.g. Does that present a challenge for your app? E.g. custom prefixes allow you to still display "en" in the URL if that's a concern for you. |

Locales allow encoding some information like the numbering system (e.g.
ar-u-nu-arab
), but I don't think using date/number formats from a specific regional variant is supported with a syntax like that. So practically, this means that you probably want to useen-GB
.Does that present a challenge for your app?
E.g. custom prefixes allow you to still display "en" in the URL if that's a concern for you.
