According to the docs from here: https://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/gaia-users/archive/programmatic-access, band has no effect any more:

Since Gaia Archive software release [GACS 3.6](https://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/gaia-users/archive/release-notes) (December 2024), the optional parameter 'BAND', which allowed the retrieval of only the photometric band specified by this parameter when requesting epoch photometry products, has been deprecated. This parameter can still be used but no longer has any effect.

Therefore we should also deprecate it, raising the warning that it has no effect, and eventually remove it from the signature.

Hi @bsipocz, we'd be glad if you could deprecate the band parameter. That was one of our pending tasks (jira: C9GACS-981). Let us know if you need any help from our side.
