In the provided plists it seems the StartupMute entry is missing from NVRAM->Add->7C436…(meaning no boot chime). If I want to have the boot chime how would I go about adding the entry? (or is it impossible?)

StartupMute plist entry missing

@cozumii8364 It is possible but you will simply need to follow the instructions for enabling it using the instructions on the open core GitHub for the release version on my repo. You should be using ProperTree for all edits but if you're careful and use the correct version of Opencore configurator for my release version of OC set to the mod release you should be ok but back up your config cause one wrong setting and you will not be able to boot.
I am not familiar with that particular nvram option which makes me think it was introduced in a newer OC release. Historically you had to change two options; one in the audio section and another was something along the lines of "boot chime".
All the audio files required to make the chime are already included in my releases and so it just needs to be enabled.
