the "create a post" link does not draw so much attention, it could be boosted a bit. (not extremely).

An idea, for example, convert it to this:

"Or, submit content to include in the feed (posts are reviewed before publication)." <BUTTON>Create a post</BUTTON>

That is, have a clickable button instead of a plain text link.
