Request: Add Android home screen search widget for Brave browser

It would be extremely helpful to have a native Android widget that acts as a Brave search bar directly from the home screen, similar to how Chrome or DuckDuckGo provide their own widgets.

This would:

• Allow quicker access to Brave Search
• Make the experience more seamless for Brave users
• Encourage more people to keep using Brave as their daily browser.

Please consider adding this!

I agree. Recently, the team removed widget options. I even complained to the community, but to no avail.

Why would they remove widget options? I'm highly intrigued. It seems like a rather benign feature to eliminate.

I’m genuinely confused why only the two worst widget versions were left available. This feels like a step backward in terms of user choice.
