Mac OSX file dialog not able to select alias for directories

Hello,

When trying to use alias (similiar to symbolic link) it is grayed out in the file dialog gui. I've noticed that this is also an issue with python tkinter, but is resolved using pyqt5 library instead. Anyway you guys could update with a solution for this?

Steps to reproduce

1. Make alias to directory on desktop
2. Open brave and try to download an image to the aliased directory using the alias to navigate to it.
3. Its should be grayed out and unselectable.

Actual result

Unable to select alias to directory.

Expected result

Should navigate you to the directory of the alias.
