Hi everybody,
maybe someone can help me out. I installed the bridge on an pi according to the documentation.
Furthermore, I uploaded a test project which probably has more than 15 devices.
Unfortunately, I can not see any devices only the approx. 200 group addresses.
Furthermore, I am not able to update the version via the html page. The version is stated as 1.3.0

Do you have any idea?

You have to change 2.2.0 to 2.4.1

or follow this instrucion:

1. Connect to your Raspberry Pi via SSH (https://hochgatterer.me/de/hkknx/docs/install/rpi-cli/) - here you can find password!
2. Write following command sudo apt install rename and accept the installation with Y
3. Go to dir with command cd /tmp/
4. Download newest HKKNX Version with command wget https://github.com/brutella/hkknx-public/releases/download/2.4.1/hkknx-2.4.1_linux_arm.tar.gz
5. Unzip with command tar -xzf hkknx-2.4.1_linux_arm.tar.gz
6. Copy file to /usr/bin directory with command sudo mv hkknx /usr/bin/hkknx-2.4.1
7. Change to directory /usr/bin with cd /usr/bin/
8. Rename the old 1.3.0 version with following command rename hkknx hkknx-1.3.0
9. Rename the new version with rename hkknx-2.4.1 hkknx
10. Correct permissions of new version with command sudo chmod 755 hkknx and sudo chown -R root:root hkknx
11. Reboot Raspberry Pi with command sudo reboot
12. DONE - Succesfully upgraded to latest Version!

Hello,
I tried to update the version according to the homepage. MY current version is stated as 1.3 and if I hit for search for new updates I get the following error message: Get "https://api.github.com/repos/brutella/hkknx-public/releases": x509: certificate has expired or is not yet valid: current time 2021-05-20T15:26:57+01:00 is before 2022-03-16T00:00:00Z

I modified the script for timing according to my understanding

I tried using the command to start the service but didn't work out
timedatectl set-ntp 1

Can you help me?

Hi :-)

The easiest and fastest solution is to set the date and time manually with this command:

sudo date -s '2021-01-04 13:04:00'

Thanks for the help. The manual overwrite did work for me and I was able to update to most recent version.
Nevertheless, I got two questions

1. The automatic service for time sync. doesn't seem to work for me:
   

2. I was able to import my KNX-project but see no devices only the group addresses. You have any ideas:

Great!

1. Not really needed - more options and infos you will get on my links for date and time setup
2. There is no auto configuration for your devices! You have to set up every accesories you would like to show up in HomeKit extra.

Here is an example of an light bulb:

If you have additional configuration, like dimmable lights you have to set up "Helligkeit" with the group adresses defined in ETS project.
Hope this is understandable.

Furthermore , i tried to connect to my IP-Interface which can not be found. In the description it is mentioned that multicast need to be available. How can i active this?

Hello,

you have to activate and "allow" multicast DNS (mDNS) in your network! This have to be handled individually! We can´t have an closer look to your network setup!

Which IP Interface you are using?
Check out the Settings page and put the IP and Port 3671 from your interface inside and choose UDP.

Sometimes after changes you have to wait few minutes. If the response is nothing after 5 minutes, try to reboot the Pi, or open an issue that @brutella can have a look into it.

This i at least now could figure out…my TCP-IP Interface is now broken…need to order new one…maybe afterwards it will work

How you confirmed that your IP Interface is broken? Cańt Imagine, that HKKNX let die your Interface ;-)

The Display on the device is offline, the Interface was not responding when pushing the buttons by hand neither was it online in FRITZ!Box.

But yeah i agree - nothing to do with the bridge- just bad timing need to order new device than hopefully i can make it work.
