Acceptance Criteria (Required on creation)

Release workflow exist for the project

  • Runs on daily basis with dry run or on workflow_dispatch
  • Steps
    • Builds the artifacts and the distribution
      • Distro needs to be built for potentially consuming the artifact in a smoke integration test.
    • JAR artifacts need to be pushed to Maven Central (e.g., so as a user I can build plugins against the interfaces). Distro doesn’t need to be pushed to Maven Central.
    • Nice to have: attach automatically distro and artifacts to release.
