non smooth animation when locked cell in middle

Hello, awesome library has helped me a lot. 1 small issue i'm having is when I lock a cell in the middle of a list and then reorder something above it, there is a jitter / the item animates far down before returning to its original place.

The animation while dragging / dynamically reordering is working great, but when i stop dragging and let go the jitter occurs. See video attached.

last add but it seems like it only occurs if the object is second from the top / reordering the top-most object:
