I'd be happy to put this together if you want. I was going to put examples in the README: is that an okay place?

This would be awesome. I was envisioning also putting them in the --help output. I haven't really thought through what that would look like yet. Perhaps some big block of text just at the bottom of things. If you want to throw them in the readme that'd be great, feel free to experiment with puttin them in the code too I'd you'd like.
