I have a winows drive in my desktop but I've never actually tried using this there. I'll try it out soon and see if it works / what I can do.

Works on Windows 10 without issues.

  • Go to https://github.com/cgag/loc/releases and download trust-v0.4.1-x86_64-pc-windows-gnu.zip
  • Put "loc.exe" in an empty directory. (e.g. C:\bin)
  • Hit the windows key and search for 'edit the system environment variables'. Open it.
  • A new window "System Properties" should open - click on 'Environment Variables' at the bottom.
  • Select "Path" of "User variables" and click "Edit..."
  • Click "New" and click 'Browse...' next. Select the directory you created and placed the loc.exe in. (e.g. C:\bin)
  • Save & close everything
  • You can now use 'loc' anywhere you like in your command prompt.

For what it's worth, I think you can close this issue. I just installed it on Windows 10 using nothing more than cargo install loc and it works flawlessly. Thanks for writing this!
