Goals

  1. Gain some practical use of working with git/github
  2. Understand the basic developer workflow
  3. Understand how to work with pushing/pulling/merging

Form Teams

Directions

  1. Watch the designated repository corresponding to your group number (find the "watch" button in upper right)
  2. Notify your instructor and wait until your s/he adds you as a collaborator
  3. Collaborate on the file and make changes
    1. Clone the repository locally
    2. Make the changes
    3. Commit your changes
    4. Push your changes --- You may have to pull other teams' changes and resolve conflicts one or more times before you can successfully push your changes
  4. Review with your team
    1. What worked?
    2. What didn't work and why?
    3. What could you do differently to improve your process next time?
