System information

Please provide information about your system and the version of Clementine used.

  • Operating System: fedora 40
  • Clementine version: Clementine 1.4.0rc1-901-g7b678f26e

Expected behavior / actual behavior

still being able to use shift

Steps to reproduce the problem (only for bugs)

open clementine with default settings
open editor
try to type Hello World in editor
experience that you are not able to use your shift key anymore

apparently that is because of a default shortcut for next album or something that uses shift+something
after removing that shortcut it works

I'm not the only one who experienced that issue https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxquestions/comments/1buh409/shift_keys_stopped_working_when_clementine_is/

but i'm not using i3 or lxqt but lxde with openbox

so i guess by just removing the default shortcut it is not done because you can still re-create that issue by assigning such a shortcut

I also had the same problem, whenever I open Clementine, the shift key dies and the function to use becomes Alt+Shift, and removing the shortcut or assigning another one returns the original shift function.
S.O : Fedora 42 beta
I3wm
Clementine version: This program uses Qt version 5.15.16.
