New fresh Ubuntu 24.04.2 install, Clementine installed at App Center from snap. Version: latest/stable 1.4.1-18
Clementine icon is the generic (grey gear-wheel) in the apps menu and in the dash. However the icon on the upper status bar is correct yellow clementine icon.

I installed the .deb package, version: 1.4.0~rc1+git867-g9ef681b0e+dfsg-1ubuntu4
I do have the correct icon in start menu and status bar but the gray gear-wheel on the dock.
