Just a suggestion Joe and it's probably more trouble than it's worth for you to implement, but I'll raise for your attention.
Been giving my fathers website some cloudscribe love. https://www.sankala.co.uk/ and I've been using the lovely gallery template quite a bit for some images galleries sankala.co.uk/gallery
I've been using the browse server function to add images to the image gallery, as dropping the images places them in a 'gallery' bucket folder. And it's easier to keep track of the photo assets when you place them in folders yourself.
When creating the gallery adding multiple images can be time consuming as you have to re-open the 'Images Files' dialog traverse the directory structure pick the image and then add. You have to repeat these steps for each image. And the file picker dialog doesn't remember directory where you were when you picked. An improvement might be to add multiple image picker support or potentially retained the directory you had traversed to for that instance?
