I'd like that ImageGlass could have configurable tone mapping mechanism to view HDR images (like JPEG XL or OpenEXR). Many HDR images get clamped in ImageGlass on a SDR display, therefore having a configurable tone mapping will be very helpful for previewing them.

We could have:

  • A dropdown for picking tone mapping curves (linear, logarithm, ACES, etc.).
  • A slider to change brightness.

https://openexr.com/en/latest/test_images/index.html has OpenEXR various images for testing.
