Is GraphQL-Yoga tooling around Apollo?

Where I work, I am evaluating moving away from Apollo Server into using GraphQL-Yoga due to what it looks like to be a less bloated and more performant library, unfortunately, I have been told that GraphQL-Yoga is just simply tooling around Apollo.

I am unable to find this in the documentation as a fact and when I use the latest bundler analyser I am unable to see any apollo related dependencies.

Would it be possible to have some clarification regarding this?

That's not true. GraphQL Yoga is not a "tooling around Apollo". It is a different server implementation than Apollo Server.

Just wanted to mention that the v1 of Yoga was built around Apollo-Server.
The current implementation is standalone.
