After the initial automations were implemented and working, I went back a few hours later to the chatai instance (before it forgets anything), to give feedback as well as further ideas I have. I also prompted it to come up with it's own ideas. This is in line with treating the chatai instance as my own personal home decorator or architect. The problem with doing that is that the chatai is not going to retain any data about things after some period of time, so I can't go back in a month and expect it to recall anything. These text files ensure that I can simply re-feed them back in and continue where we left off.
Here's what I entered:
"By now you have an understanding of the theatre room, what's in it, and what it's used for. I want to further describe the room and some other activities that it might be used for. I want you to make recommendations on any automations that might need changing or any new automations. Don't produce YAML code right now, just give me summaries. Then I want you to suggest any enhancements in several areas - finding new uses for the equipment and functions in the room, new automations that can provide a better user experience, and new uses for the room that can be facilitated by Home Assistant.
The theatre room is 18x21 feet. It has a 135" projector screen on one wall and a 4-seater couch facing it. The 2 seats on the ends of the couch are recliners. The room is capable of ATMOS and has 7 surround speakers, 4 atmos speakers, and 2 subwoofers. The walls have been treated with acoustic absorbtion tiles.
The automations we've created so far mainly deal with a single person entering the theatre, but of course several people could enter and be in it. My previous automations that I created myself without your help had a problem that if two people entered the empty room at the same time, the automations wouldn't get triggered. This might be because the Aqara FP2 presence sensor's state may be different depending on whether it detects one person entering the room or several. I don't know, but it's embarrasing when I want to bring in someone to see the theatre and nothing happens! So perhaps some additional checking needs to be done.
On the subject of bringing guests in, the room can be used for more than watching videos. So I want to have a smart wall switch that lets me control the lights. But I want it so that if I use that smart wall switch to change lighting, the lights won't then automatically change a few moments later because of the automations. In other words, if the wall switch changes a light state, then automations should no longer automatically change those changed lights. The exception is when the room becomes empty; all your automations for when the room is empty must trigger as normal.
